Editor's Note

In our first ever fundraising campaign last week, we highlighted some of the most accessed articles and tools published over the last eight years. It was exciting to see all the different perspectives and revisit some old favorites. We hope you enjoyed the trip down memory lane and we offer our sincere thanks to all those who were able to contribute. We know that some who wanted to contribute couldn’t for a variety of reasons, and we thank them for their ongoing readership and support as well.

This issue is a celebration of having looked to our past and continuing to grow into the future. That future includes new ways to consider existing problems and especially encouraging the inclusion of voices that have been left behind for too long. Each of our articles highlights the immense value and essential need to seek out underrepresented voices. First, Ouellet examines how to better incorporate aboriginal voices in conversations about wellness. Second, Jackson discusses the use of feedback loops in diverse communities where some voices might be harder to hear. Third, Palmer presents an argument for carefully examining the language used with homeless populations; voices all too often unheard in conversations about housing. It has never been more vital to ensure inclusion and diverse perspectives as we work for greater community health across the United States and across the world. We proudly bring you some ways to think about that inclusion in this issue.

The next year promises to be an exciting one with a Special Issue on Undergraduate Education in Community Psychology arriving soon after the new year, lots of great articles in the hopper, and a chance to connect at the SCRA Biennial Conference in Chicago. Thank you once again for your support. We look forward to bringing you more practitioner voices and work in the coming months.
